Our Story
On just a Word from God in February 1945, SCHC was started by Rev. Fred and Annie Combs under a brush arbor with just a handful of people. God has blessed our founding pastor’s faithfulness! Sixty-nine years later, we are now in our third building due to the church’s growth, which seats around 390.
We are located in the North Florida area; more specifically, Baker County.
We are a family that loves God and loves people. We are mission-minded, both at home through various ministries and around the world with our mobile teams. In our services, we have been blessed to see many individuals saved, set free from addictions, healed of cancer; and we’ve seen two raised from the dead! We have a great expectancy for what lies ahead. We firmly believe that the best is yet to come!
